Power-factor correction for a small hydro plant
With the new compensation switchboard the power factor is 0.98–0.99.
We added a compensation switchboard to the Nosice small hydro plant to optimise its power factor. At the turbine’s full output of about 300 kW, the power factor now sits between 0.98 and 0.99.
